Fun Questions
-
What’s your pet’s name, and why did you choose it?
I have three wonderful cats: Olive, Moose, and Gus.- Olive got her name because of my childhood love for the movie Oliver and Company, which sparked my lifelong affection for ginger cats. I always dreamed of naming an orange cat Oliver, but when I adopted my fluffy ginger, I discovered she was female. Olive was the perfect twist on the name!
- Moose earned his name as a kitten with long, gangly legs—it just suited him perfectly!
- Gus, or GusGus, is named after the lovable mouse in Cinderella, continuing the Disney-inspired naming tradition my family has always loved.
Each name has a special story, and they fit my furry family members perfectly! -
What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job?
As a Veterinary Client Care Representative, I love interacting with both people and pets. It’s incredibly fulfilling to be part of joyful moments, like welcoming a new pet into a family, and to provide support during more difficult times, such as saying goodbye to a beloved companion. Being able to share in these meaningful moments and make a difference in their lives is what I find most rewarding.
Serious Questions
-
What advice would you give to pet owners to ensure their pets lead healthy lives?
Preventative care is the key to keeping pets healthy and happy. Simple steps like maintaining a healthy weight, brushing their teeth, feeding a balanced diet, and scheduling regular checkups can make a big difference as they age. While these may seem like significant commitments upfront, they help prevent serious illnesses and ensure a better quality of life for both you and your pet in the long run.

How do you collaborate with pet owners to provide the best care possible for their animals?
I believe it’s essential to recognize that every pet owner is unique, with different lifestyles, budgets, and time constraints. By working together to create a care plan tailored to their needs and their pet’s well-being, we can ensure the best possible outcomes and set them up for success.
